What that means when you buy one
You're buying from a company Tesla has independently assessed, and whose installs Tesla keeps assessing. If something goes wrong, your escalation goes to a partner Tesla already deals with.
The certification does not come with a discount or an exclusive, and it says nothing about the battery itself. Your Powerwall is the same unit whoever fits it. The certification covers who puts it on your wall, sets it up and comes back afterwards.
