Three things turn up in review after review. The quote gets explained, and more than one person says they were talked out of spending more. The crew arrives when it said it would, and the site is clean when they leave. And somebody still answers after the system is on. Several of these were written by people whose previous installer had stopped picking up.

Tesla Powerwall 3 ACT 2906
The standards decide where a battery can sit: clearances, the wall behind it, and the run back to the switchboard. Here the position the owner wanted stayed, and the battery changed to one rated to live outdoors. A plumber capped a disused gas line on the same visit.
Everything was smooth from the initial quote, through to the installation. There was some initial back and forth about which type of battery to install and location. In the end my preferred location was not going to meet standards which then meant having to change the brand of battery to one that would be more suitable outdoors. This was all handled well by Michael and the team.
Second Tesla Powerwall ACT 2600
The owner already had a battery from another company, installed a year earlier, and wanted a second one beside it. We inspected that first install as part of the job. Faults nobody could see at quoting turned up on the day, and we corrected them at no charge.
Sunstak have just added a second Tesla Powerwall battery to my system, which had been installed a year ago by another provider. … The quality and professionalism of the installation was particularly impressive. Several deficiencies in the installation of the existing battery by my previous supplier were rectified without cost or question, even though some were not apparent at the time of quoting.
Battery retrofit ACT 2905
Retrofitting storage to an existing array depends on things only a site visit shows. The inverter already fitted, spare ways in the switchboard, where a battery can legally sit, and how far that is from the meter. Some of the companies asked to quote this job never visited the home.
I reviewed all of the companies on the ACT Government approved list for a solar battery to add to my existing solar panel system. I sought quotes from the 6 best rated companies. From the 4 quotes I received I chose SunStak. The main reason I chose them was because they were the most responsive, helpful and reasonably priced, a couple of the others didn't even visit the house before quoting.

A school roof is a set-out problem with a deadline attached. We planned, delivered and commissioned the array inside the break before the new term. Somebody else coordinated the site. 40 kW of panels onto one long hall roof, in five days, with six people on it.

Commercial solar and battery Lyneham ACT
Community members referred the temple, worried about its power bills. The complex is large and draughty, and expensive to heat. 20 kW of solar and a 20 kWh battery, with the meter board upgraded to carry it. The battery holds the demand peak down, which a commercial tariff charges separately from the energy.
