WINAICO puts the wiring behind the cells, so your roof shows black glass in a black frame, with no silver lines across it.
Glass on both sides
Your panels have 2.0 mm glass on the back as well as the front, where most panels use a polymer sheet, a common point of failure.

WINAICO covers your panels for 30 years, double the 15 years a standard polymer-backed panel carries.What back contact means for your roof
On most panels, thin silver lines run across the front of every cell to carry the power. WINAICO moves those connections to the back. Your panels look solid black from the street, and more of each cell is open to the sun.
Up to 20% more power from the back
Your panels also turn light that reaches their glass back into power. Depending on your roof and how they're mounted, each panel can make up to 20% more from its rear, or up to 100 W.
Your output, guaranteed for 30 years
Your panels can lose no more than 1% of their output in the first year and 0.35% a year after that. In year 30, WINAICO guarantees at least 88.85% of their rated power.

WINAICO Ultra Black specifications
The WINAICO WST-500BKX54-B3 is rated at 500 W and 24.5% module efficiency, and can make up to 20% more from its rear, depending on conditions. Each panel measures 1,800 × 1,134 × 35 mm and weighs 25 kg, with 2.0 mm glass on the front and the back and a black anodised aluminium frame. WINAICO covers the product for 30 years and its performance for 30 years.
