Every price from $13,783 to $15,783 is for a Powerwall 3P we add to your existing solar on a three-phase home, and includes:
- The Tesla Gateway
- Whole-home backup on a three-phase home
- Your battery on an outside wall within 5 metres of the meter box
- Connection to your existing solar
- Your network application
- Commissioning, and the Tesla app set up on your phone
Blackout backup for your home runs through the Tesla Gateway. Every Sunstak install comes with clear scope and pricing before work starts.
What changes your price
The Sunstak price calculator asks about the things below, because each one changes the work on your install.
- Your solar. Keeping your panels, adding panels, replacing them or starting with none.
- Your storage. Powerwall 3P on its own or with one to three expansion units.
- Blackout backup. Whether you want your home backed up in an outage.
- Wiring your existing panels straight into the Powerwall 3P.
- A two-storey home.
- A small or full meter box.
- A battery site more than 5 metres from your meter box.
- A battery on a separate building, such as a detached garage.

What extra costs could be required?
Your battery adds new circuits to your meter box. At the site visit, an Energy Geek checks how much room your meter box has and where your battery will go.
- Meter box enlargement, $1,900 on a three-phase home.
- Your battery's location, priced at the visit. A cable run past 5 metres, trenching to a detached garage, or fire-rated protection where the wall needs it.
- Moving your solar's DC cables into the Powerwall 3P's built-in inverter, $600 per inverter.
