Project Yungi: Off-grid energy adventure base station

Yungi in the local Ngunnawal language means to give. We explored the concept of giving back and realised the sun gives us life and energy everyday. We wanted to capture this gift in a usable way for many Canberran’s that explore our natural wonders .

Our concept is a completely standalone off-grid base camp that will provide clean energy, shelter and WiFi for anyone exploring the great outdoors. Many people drive to their starting point for their outdoor adventures and leave their cars idle for many hours, so why not take advantage of the renewable energy and charge their electric vehicles.
